Despite being one of the world's most educated and technologically connected nations, Canada ranks near the bottom globally for AI literacy. Most Canadians encounter AI every day — in their newsfeeds, their phone calls, their workplaces — but have never been given the tools to understand it.
The communities most affected by this gap are often the least served. Seniors face AI-powered scams with no guidance. Students graduate without any formal AI education. Workers worry about their futures but have nowhere practical to turn.
Learn AI Canada exists to change that. We go directly to communities — libraries, seniors homes, schools, community centres — and deliver plain-language, practical AI education. Free, accessible, and built for real Canadians.

We go to communities. We do not wait for communities to come to us. Whether it's a seniors home in Calgary or a library in a small Alberta town, we show up.

Who we are
Founded by a technology entrepreneur based in Airdrie, Alberta, Learn AI Canada was born from a simple observation: the people who most needed to understand AI were the least likely to ever get the chance.
Seniors were encountering AI-powered scams with no guidance. Students were graduating without any AI education. Workers were anxious about their futures but had nowhere practical to turn.
